We are a constituted, community run group. We seek to increase opportunities for all ages to enjoy outdoor learning and play in Central and South Somerset.
We provide Woodland Playschemes and afterschool clubs for children of all ages.
Affordable Forest School sessions and 'Woodland Exploration' visits, also 'Nurture' groups with an option to follow the John Muir accredited Awards, for schools and home education groups.
Family sessions for parents with young children.
Other outdoor learning events such as; nature inspired creative writing, woodland theatre, survival skills (including edible and medicinal plants), woodland craft skills, parent and child bow making, evening sessions and art and music workshops
Adult courses and training for practitioners and teachers. Workshops on spoon carving, cob building techniques, living history ideas, woodland crafts and bow making.
Opportunities for volunteering on woodland/forestry projects for older children and adults.
Two small private woodland venues for visits, training and practical experience of woodland management.
