 Sessions for over 8's

We provide a safe and stimulating environment where over 8's can get 'back to nature' and enjoy a day outside. Activities include nature watch groups, den building, ropes on slopes, scavenger trails, tree and animal identification games, hide and seek, plaster casts of animal tracks, orienteering, digging out clay for camp fire pottery, whistle making, rope bridge building, conservation projects, map sticks and general woodland arts and crafts.

Holiday sessions run from 10:00 until 4:00 and include a camp fire lunch.

Family Sessions for under 8's

Currently our sessions for under 8's are all accompanied by a parent/carer to comply with regulations. There are a number of age appropriate activities available to try.

Sessions are family oriented and older children help with the younger ones. Come with your grandad or auntie! Babies and toddlers are also welcome. Everyone can enjoy the woods and adults and slightly older children enjoy toasting crumpets and marshmallows on the fire. Details of events will be posted on the callendar. To book a place contact the organizer of the event or email forestschool@beccott.com
